2019 Whitefish Winter Carnival Grand Parade Application

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

Citizens of the Realm, our good and just King Ullr and Queen of the Snows hereby invite all to participate in the Winter Carnival Parade LX, and to compete for awards and notoriety.

Join the fun and festivities along with The Royal Court, but beware of the Yetis and their mischievous antics, because what happens in Whitefish follows you home.

Parade Time and Date: 3 PM, Saturday, February 2, 2019
Parade Theme: “Woodstock Whitefish”

Entry fees will be collected on parade day in exchange for your place in the line-up. Please make checks payable to WWC Inc. or Whitefish Winter Carnival.

Ordinances and Miscellaneous Details:
ALL ENTRIES MUST CONFORM TO THE THEME. EXCEPTIONS ARE MILITARY UNITS, BANDS,
EQUESTRIAN UNITS AND HOT-ROD/ANTIQUE CARS. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL PRECLUDE YOU
FROM CROSSING THE STARTING LINE.

Important: Any shows, skits, dance moves, etc. must be done while in motion. Stopping along the parade
route to perform is prohibited to ensure timely flow of all participants.

Safety: All participants are responsible for ensuring that the design and operation of their entry is safe and
reliable. Whitefish Winter Carnival Parade assumes no responsibility for unsafe entries.
Sponsorship and Commercialism: Recognition of commercial sponsors is acceptable provided it is done
tastefully and conforms to the theme.

Parade Line Up: Check in at the Front Lobby of Muldown Elementary beginning at 12:00.
Whitefish Winter Carnival Parade is a family event. Any inappropriate language, music or costumes will not
be a part of the parade. WWC Inc. reserves the right to deny participation to any entrant for any reason.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: Must be checked by managing person(s) of entry. I (we) assume all risk of bodily injury or property damage that I(we) may incur in participating in the Whitefish Winter Carnival Parade. I (we) hereby, for myself, my child, my heirs executors and administrators do hereby, expressly and forever waive and release any and all claims against and agree to hold harmless the Whitefish Winter Carnival, all Carnival sponsors, the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Whitefish, their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents, representatives, sponsors, successors, or assigns of any kind from any and all claims which may be made for any cause whatsoever arising as a result of or in connection with the participation of me, my group, or my child in the herein mentioned event.
